After working as a mental health practitioner for several years, I became an independent trainer and consultant.
For the last ten years, I have developed innovative and responsive mental health training for a wide range of public, private and charity sector organisations across England & Wales. As a trainer, I am widely known for my lively and interactive approach and my ability to help participants reach their full learning potential. |

I worked as a Senior Lecturer and Practice Assessor for Middlesex University for 10 years.

I am a Mental Health Act Hospital Manager for a Mental Health Trust.

I am an approved Mental Health trainer for the Shaw Trust.

I have undertaken Recovery and Social Inclusion training with Rachel Perkins.

In 2008, I will be one of the first trainers in the UK qualified to provide training in Mental Health First Aid.

I have co-trained several successful programmes for the Certificate of Community Mental Health Care (City & Guilds) with a 99% pass rate.

I am on the register of trainers for the Dementia Education & Training Network.

I am in the process of becoming an approved Dementia Care trainer for the Alzheimer's Society.

I am founder of a charity which provides education and psychological care for vulnerable young people in Uganda.
